The role / Position overview
Senior Marketing Associate, Americas – FT Professional
FT Professional, a division of the Financial Times, licenses FT content to organizations around the world, with clients in corporate, finance, government, professional services and education. The Senior Marketing Associate, Americas will be responsible for handling marketing activity to support brand awareness, lead generation and customer engagement in the Americas region.
The role also supports the Marketing Manager, Americas, with broader company-wide initiatives focused on the US growth market. This is a cross-functional position that blends account-based marketing, email campaigns, events, advertising, and sales enablement across a variety of sectors.
Key responsibilities

Contribute to the planning, execution, and optimization of high-impact marketing campaigns that align with FT Professional’s strategic goals and audience needs in collaboration with the Marketing Manager, Americas

Build strong working relationships with key partners, especially sales and customer success teams in the Americas, and marketers globally

Complete full-funnel campaign activities including building audiences, copywriting, collaborating with design, booking ads, handling partnerships, and deploying emails

Maintain and localize website landing pages and other digital assets for regional markets

Run participation in events and webinars: lead generation strategy, logistics, promotional materials, and outreach

Work with the sales development team to qualify senior-level leads from campaigns and events

Use Marketo and Salesforce to automate marketing processes and track campaign performance

Foster effective communication within FT using both digital and in-person tools

Analyze marketing effectiveness and find opportunities to optimize efforts and improve processes

Support cross-functional US growth initiatives within FT Professional and wider FT teams
Required skills / experience
Essential:
-
Solid understanding of core marketing principles and tactics
-
B2B marketing experience, particularly digital and event marketing
-
Strong data and CRM experience, including analysis and planning

Consistent track record working with sales teams to align marketing efforts

Excellent project management skills; deadline and budget driven

Experience working with vendors and producing marketing collateral

Clear communicator and effective team collaborator

High standard of quality and attention to detail
Preferred:

Background in the media or publishing industry

Experience with Salesforce and Marketo

Additional language skills are a plus

Further information
A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $70,000–$75,000. To ensure pay fairness, the successful candidate will be offered a salary within the estimated salary range based on a number of considerations including but not limited to: skills; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organisational needs. The disclosed range estimate is for our NYC office and has not been adjusted for other locations.
