The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Events Operations Executive to support the delivery of our global portfolio of in-person, hybrid and digital events.

This is a broad and hands-on role within the wider events operations team, supporting Event Managers in delivering world-class experiences for our audiences, partners and speakers. Alongside operational responsibilities, the role will provide technical audio-visual support across digital and hybrid formats, ensuring seamless production standards that reflect the FT’s reputation for quality.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in international events, digital production and video, with the confidence to take initiative and contribute creative ideas.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support Event Managers in the planning and delivery of in-person, hybrid and digital events

  • Liaise professionally with speakers, sponsors and clients

  • Set up and maintain pre-event webpages and sponsor hubs

  • Handle guest databases and registration systems

  • Run digital roundtables and webinars for VIP clients

  • Order, produce and assemble event branding and materials

  • Coordinate shipment of materials for domestic and international events

  • Provide on-site and virtual technical support, including audio-visual setup

  • Support the recording and editing of digital and hybrid events

  • Assist with livestreaming and gallery/graphics operation where required


Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and clients

  • Proactive approach with the ability to show initiative and solve problems effectively

  • High standard of video production knowledge

  • Strong understanding of production methods, including filming and editing

  • Solid understanding of broadcast/DSLR cameras, audio technologies and basic lighting

  • Experience using professional video editing software and exporting in multiple formats

  • Familiarity with livestreaming platforms and gallery technologies

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally where required


Desirable

  • Experience supporting international events

  • Creative approach to filming and post-production

  • Experience working in media, publishing or live event environments
