About the role: 

The Consulting Manager will deliver consulting engagements. This will include:

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of consulting projects, from scoping and hypothesis development through analysis, synthesis and client-ready recommendations
  • Structuring complex, ambiguous problems and applying rigorous analytical approaches to develop clear, actionable insights
  • Translating data into compelling narratives, producing high-impact presentations and written deliverables for executive audiences
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships, building trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders and facilitating workshops and presentations 
  • Owning workstreams and coordinating small project teams, ensuring high-quality outputs are delivered on time and to budget
  • Applying strong commercial judgement to identify opportunities for growth, optimisation and long-term value creation 
  • Supporting business development through proposal development, pitch materials and contributing to the expansion of existing client relationships
  • Coaching and developing junior colleagues, providing clear feedback and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for the Manila team, providing oversight, guidance and quality assurance
  • Serving as a key liaison between the Manila and London team, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines and ways of working

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, media/technology strategy, or a related analytical consulting environment
  • A strong track record and evidence of structured problem-solving and analytical rigour
  • Demonstrable experience managing client relationships and presenting to senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility
  • Experience leading workstreams or small teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality outputs in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity into clear, compelling messages
  • Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in Excel and presentation tools (e.g. PowerPoint/Google Slides); familiarity with data tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Looker or similar) is advantageous
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in media, publishing, digital business models or subscription-driven growth (desirable but not essential)
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and a willingness to work flexibly across time zones as part of a global team
