What you will do
As a Senior Account Executive, Growth (f/m/d), you will play a key role in driving strategic revenue growth by deepening partnerships with some of Mentimeter’s most prominent enterprise clients. Your focus will be on identifying and capturing expansion opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring our solutions continue to create value and support their evolving needs.
You will be responsible for a defined book of enterprise customers and work in close collaboration with a dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM), Retention Manager (RM), and Sales Development Representative (SDR). Together, you will build and execute strategic account plans, drive cross-functional alignment, and strengthen our footprint across key business units to scale long-term success.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account expansion plans for existing enterprise customers through analysing usage data and aligning customer priorities with Mentimeter's value proposition.
- Deeply understand customer business models, organizational goals, and key pain points to generate qualified opportunities that position Mentimeter as a strategic partner.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers across multiple functions and business units.
- Lead the full expansion sales cycle — from demand generation and opportunity identification to deal strategy and close — with a clear focus on growing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
- Apply value selling and solution selling methodologies to align Mentimeter’s capabilities with customer outcomes and secure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Retention Managers (RMs), Marketing, and Product to ensure seamless handovers, high customer satisfaction, and retention.
- Own accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility for expansion opportunities using best-in-class CRM discipline and data hygiene.
- Act as a strategic advisor to customers, continuously educating them on best practices, new use cases, and how to maximize the value from Mentimeter across their organization.

Skills & Requirements
- Proven success in enterprise SaaS sales with several years of direct quota-carrying experience.
- Track record of expanding strategic accounts through opportunity identification, value-driven selling, and consistent execution from discovery to close.
- Experience engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders, using a structured, insights-led approach to initiate and sustain high-value dialogues.
- A growth-oriented team player — driven to exceed targets while fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to simplify complexity and tailor messaging to different audiences and personas.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build and prioritize strategic account plans that unlock long-term customer value and revenue growth.
- Fluent in German and proficient in Business English, both spoken and written.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
