Join Mentimeter as our Data Analyst, where you will set new standards for our analytics craft within the Data & Analytics (DNA) team and play a pivotal role in advancing our analytics capabilities to drive impactful, data-informed strategies for our SaaS-based business. Data is not only central, but crucial, to how Mentimeter will reach success.

At Mentimeter, the Data & Analytics team is on a mission to catalyse our company strategy and drive innovation, growth and impact throughout our company and user journey by using data. We work at the intersection of analytics, data science, and business to deliver actionable insights and solutions that enable better decisions across departments, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations. Your contributions will directly influence key business outcomes such as customer retention, engagement, and expansion.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with and be supported by cross-functional teams of data scientists, analytics engineers, user researchers, product managers and revenue leaders who are passionate about Mentimeter’s mission and using data to achieve it.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to define key questions, success metrics, and analytical approaches that enable strategic decisions.
  • Deliver high-impact analyses and decision support that connect insights across our functions and company.
  • Be a key part of our Analytics team to align priorities and ensure solutions are relevant and impactful.
  • Collaborate closely with Analytics Engineering and other close teams to enable the business to proactively act on data and create business impact.
  • Elevate the analytics craft by setting new standards, implementing innovative approaches and best practices.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner and mentor to analysts and stakeholders alike, raising analytical maturity across the organization.
  • Translate complex business questions and analytical findings into compelling narratives and visualizations that resonate with diverse audiences.

We believe you have

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts through clear narratives and visualizations.
  • Strong business acumen and experience applying analytics within a domain such as product, sales or marketing.
  • Proven expertise in analytics and data exploration, with proficiency in tools such as SQL and BI/visualization platforms.
  • A builder mindset and interest to create analysis and systems that scale, leveraging automation, generative AI, and data to drive Mentimeter’s growth and efficiency.
  • Comfort working with analytics engineering practices and collaborating with data engineers on data models and pipelines.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality, actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience partnering closely with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with modern data tools (e.g. Looker, Hex, Snowflake).
  • Experience applying AI in analytical workflows, such as setting up AI agents or automation to accelerate analysis, insight generation, and decision support.
  • Experience working within a SaaS environment, with a strong understanding of the unique business challenges and opportunities it presents.

Not required

  • Swedish is not required (as daily work is carried out in English and the Mentimeter team currently boasts 50+ different nationalities)
