What you'll do

We are looking for a Senior Frontend / Fullstack Engineer to join our Web Team in the Foundations area, the team that builds the shared experience and technical foundations that the Mentimeter website stands on. Our website is where millions of people first meet our brand, explore what Mentimeter can do, and begin their journey with us. In this role, you will help define how that experience feels, performs, and evolves.

Your work will span hands-on engineering using TypeScript, Node, React, Next.js, building the systems, tooling, and workflows that enable teams like Marketing and Growth to work autonomously, quickly, and creatively without compromising technical quality. You will also take a leading role in shaping the long-term technical direction of mentimeter.com, driving architectural decisions and setting the standards for a scalable, performant, and maintainable web platform. Throughout, you’ll advocate for accessibility, performance, SEO, and security, ensuring our external presence meets the same high standards as our product.

You’ll help strengthen a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision making, creating an environment where we learn fast and adapt even faster. As a senior engineer, you’ll mentor peers, contribute to engineering culture, and influence the broader direction of Mentimeter’s web ecosystem.

Who you are

You are likely an experienced engineer with 6+ years of working on modern, scalable web applications. You have deep knowledge of contemporary frontend technologies and frameworks, and you enjoy working across the stack when needed. You think holistically about architecture, performance, and long-term maintainability, while still finding joy in the craftsmanship of writing clean, thoughtful code. You thrive in cross-functional environments, enjoy collaborating with marketing and design, and take pride in building systems that enable others to succeed. Experience with CMS platforms, analytics tools and Ruby is a welcome bonus.
