Junior Legal Counsel (Fixed-Term)
Inbank is a financial technology company with an EU banking license that connects merchants, consumers, and financial institutions on its next-generation embedded finance platform. Our financing solutions are seamlessly integrated into the shopping journeys of over 6,000 retailers. This helps our merchant partners grow their businesses, while end customers benefit from a frictionless shopping experience wherever they are.
With a focus on innovation and growth, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team of over 440 professionals working across our offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Czech Republic.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join our team in Vilnius for a one-year fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or someone early in their legal career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
In this role, you will serve as the primary legal liaison for our Customer Care team, assisting them in navigating standard legal inquiries while also playing a key role in our contract migration project.
What will you be doing?
- Provide practical legal guidance to the Customer Support team on recurring matters such as debt collection, inheritance, bankruptcy etc.
- Review powers of attorney and inheritance documents from third parties (notaries, police, bailiffs) and draft accurate, legally sound responses and certificates.
- Prepare and submit standardized procedural documents to the court system.
- Assist in migrating active third-party agreements into our new automated contract management system by reviewing and organizing existing legal records.
- Ensure that customer communications regarding legal matters remain accurate and up-to-date, moving away from generic AI-generated templates toward precise legal frameworks.
Ideally, you bring:
- A university degree in Law. This is essential for accessing and submitting documents to the court system.
- Fluency in both Lithuanian and English.
- The ability to read legal acts, interpret them, and explain complex information in simple terms to non-legal colleagues.
- Strong written communication skills with a focus on precision and professional legal style.
- A "can-do" attitude and a sense of responsibility for your tasks, even when working under a hybrid model.
At Inbank, we believe great work deserves great rewards. Here’s what you can look forward to when you join us:
- Salary based on experience and performance (€2,100-€2,700 gross per month).
- A hybrid working model that supports flexibility and a healthy work-life balance.
- Extra time off: enjoy 5 additional vacation days after your 3rd year with us.
- Inspiring work environment that values creativity, collaboration, and impact.
- Growth opportunities: we invest in your professional development and support your career advancement.
- Health benefits: choose between comprehensive health insurance or access to the Stebby wellness platform.
- Dedicated learning and development budget to help you grow your skills and stay ahead.
- Fun and connection: take part in company-wide and team events that bring our people together.
- A modern, pet-friendly office in Vilnius, designed for comfort, collaboration, and productivity.
