We are seeking a highly accurate and knowledgeable Accountant to join our Finance team in Gdańsk, Poland.

This role offers the unique opportunity to manage critical local responsibilities while being integrated into our dynamic, international finance structure.
What you'll be doing:
- Accurately processing and posting financial transactions (including invoices) and meticulously maintaining ongoing financial records for various Group entities.
- Performing regular account reconciliations and conducting in-depth analysis to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Executing the accurate and timely completion of month-end reporting and year-end closing procedures.
- Managing all local Polish declarations and ensuring the timely preparation and submission of tax payments.
- Serving as the primary contact for communications with Tax Authorities.
- Actively participating in Group-wide projects focused on the optimisation and improvement of accounting systems and financial processes.
- Partnering closely with external financial auditors, providing necessary data, documentation, and detailed explanations to facilitate annual audits.
Ideally, you have the following skills:
- At least 2–3 years of proven professional experience working as an Accountant.
- Demonstrated experience in managing accounting or financial reporting processes.
- Working knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations.
- A basic understanding of IFRS principles and experience interpreting financial statements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong capabilities in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, proven organisational and analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion.
- Ability to work independently, utilising critical thinking, and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Fluent in verbal and written communication skills in both Polish and English.
- Previous experience with the Business Central accounting system is considered an advantage.
