We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance Team in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will be the key in-house operational accounting specialist for our Lithuanian entity. This role requires strong local accounting and tax knowledge, high accuracy, and the drive to manage change as we build our internal accounting function.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Performing day-to-day accounting activities following relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Processing purchasing and sales invoices.
• Taking care of operational tax declarations and payments.
• Ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting.
• Processing and reviewing product accounting.
• Reviewing payroll accounting prepared by the outsourced service provider.
• Partnering with external financial auditors to provide data and explanations.
• Representing Inbank in communication with Tax Authorities.
• Participating in group improvement projects of accounting systems and financial processes (e.g., constructively challenging and improving processes)

Ideally, you have the following skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional working experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting and tax laws.
• Proven organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and think critically.
• Strong sense of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Lithuanian and English.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office with expertise in Excel.
• Preferred sector experience: Financing, Retail, Production, or Outsourcing.
• Knowledge of the Accounting program Business Central is a bonus
