This position is based in Iaşi, Romania.
The main responsibility of the HR Manager role is to be the first point of contact for stakeholders in your specifically defined territory. Stakeholders are of various levels and from various parts of the business who rely on this role for advice on all HR matters. The most critical aspect of this role is to ensure common HR standards, programs, processes and approaches are applied Group-wide, aligning local and Group HR initiatives with company objectives.
This role has a strong working relationship with the HR Centers of Excellence who provide expertise in Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, Talent Management and Data Analysis. In addition, this role works closely with the Legal, Communications and Finance departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate key HR projects, changes, and implementations to stakeholders.
- Care for work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention with employees and management.
- Implement group HR programs locally and lead related projects, ensuring adherence to local legislation.
- Address complex employee relations, grievances, disciplinary measures, and day-to-day matters.
- Assist and advise employees and managers on policies & procedures.
- Contribute to HR content for reporting and communications.
- Lead recruitment locally: steer the recruitment processes with managers and candidates and adapt group recruitment guidelines to local practices.
- Manage employee administration: contracts, time sheets, performance review, probation management, on/off-boarding, and HRIS data maintenance.
- Maintain contact with the local control institutions (ITM, Occupational Safety and Health).
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
- Experience working in an international company: you're comfortable working with stakeholders located in other European countries (France, Germany).
- Expert knowledge of current local labor laws.
- Autonomous, strategic, big-picture thinker with goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented attitude.
- Calm under pressure, you can meet tight deadlines.
- Strong ability to handle several projects and topics at once.
- Skilled at handling and maintaining confidentiality.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, as well as fostering a good team atmosphere.
- Fluent in English and Romanian.
