This position is based in Iaşi, Romania.

 

As People Operations Partner you are the first contact for all employee requests in our Romanian entity. You manage the daily people operations and support our Romanian employees and business with all People related questions and requests. Exchange and learn from our European-wide People Partner team to create global IDnow experiences while keeping the local specialties in mind. 

This is an individual contributor role, not a management role.

 

Key Responsibilities

As our hands-on HR expert locally, your tasks will be to:

  • Main contact for employee relations:Independently manage employment questions and consult employees within local labour law (e.g. with Payroll or Parental Leave).  
  • People Administration:Own all local People Operation processes from Onboarding to Offboarding. Proactively address issues and push improvements. Ensure alignment to IDnow’s security policies and providing information to auditors. 
  • People Data Management:Maintain accurate and organized employee records and ensure data quality in all necessary forms. Proactively work with data reports and support strategic focus areas through data analysis. 
  • Recruiting: Support local recruiting initiatives, especially for our Call Center Agents and be the local contact for our global Talent Acquisition Partners.  
  • Payroll:Ensure correct payroll in all locations in close collaboration with the external payroll providers. Manage and work closely with Payroll experts to solve employee questions. 
  • People Projects & Initiatives:Support different People projects and drive local People Administration initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.   
  • Stakeholder Management:Work closely with our People & Organization Partners to support managers on operational team questions and pushing for highly motivated teams. 

 

Preferred Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment knowing your way around confidential and sensitive matters.  
  • People first mentality: strong people and communication skills
  • You had a first experience in an international working environment.  
  • Knowing your regulations: General understanding of Romanian labour law and experience in handling the governmental or regulatory bureaucracy in a detailed manner.  
  • Problem-solver at heart: independently researching solutions and sharing insights within the team to push for ongoing improvement.  
  • Pushing for improvements: Process- and detail-oriented with proven experience working with documents as well as optimizing processes to create better experiences for users.  
  • Prioritization is key: Independent and proactive way of working while being able to organize yourself effectively.  
  • Fluent Romanian and a high level of professional English are required.
