The Vendor Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with company goals, performance expectations, and compliance standards. The role involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external service providers, focusing on vendor evaluation, performance monitoring, cost analysis, and continuous process improvement. This role is structured with progressive responsibilities, providing a clear growth path within the function.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Communicate proactively with both internal teams and external vendors in English. Share updates, clarifications, and task information clearly and efficiently.
  • Engage independently with cross-functional teams to flag issues or submit requests. Handle escalations involving internal or external stakeholders when needed.
  • Review and publish daily contact center (CC) performance data for internal and external audiences. Prepare monthly contact center cost overviews using invoices from both internal and external CCs.
  • Contribute to or lead initiatives related to vendor performance and optimization and understand and improve vendor-related workflows.
  • Ensure vendor operations adhere to internal standards and regulations.
  • Support performance reviews and input into contract renewals and KPIs.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in Vendor Management, Customer Service, or a related role.
  • Experience with invoice processing, validation, and budget awareness.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage and interpret data to support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Sales and negotiation background would be a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and presenting insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English.
