About the Role
As Office Managers you will be part of our Technology Centre Management team, whose primary focus is culture, engagement and employee enablement for our UK Technology Teams. You will be collaborating with a diverse community across many different crafts, you will ensure the smooth and productive use of our WGC Technology Centres, while also injecting a sense of fun into the work environment.
What you will be doing
Your primary responsibilities will be to support the continuing improvement of the employee experience at Ocado Technology. Our offices form a key part of our ongoing strategy and this role will have a strong focus on the office working environment, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors that is both a productive place to work as well as a place where they enjoy spending their time.
Amongst other things, you will be expected to:
- The key point of contact for all office enquiries.
- Act as an Ambassador for the UK Technology Centre Management Team
- General office management – ensuring the facilities within the office are well maintained and it is well presented at all times.
- General administrative duties include; raising POs, expenses reconciliation and similar tasks.
- Local customer for internal service providers such as people and technical support teams.
- Support the creation of comms, comms plans and posting of information to identified audiences.
- Support and collaborate with other UK and international centres on wider Ocado initiatives to ensure employees have an aligned experience.
- Identifying continuous improvement of the office, administration and processes.
- Support the organisation and coordination of local social events for the WGC community.

Desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment requiring tact, judgement, discretion, a cool head and a good sense of humour.
- Intermediate level IT skills and familiarity with Cloud-based tools such as Google Apps including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs & Sheets etc.
