The PPC Specialist is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of PLA pay-per-click campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads, with a primary focus on promoting Groupon Goods and Local portfolio. This role is crucial in driving targeted traffic, increasing conversions, and maximizing return on investment (ROI). The PPC Specialist utilizes their expertise in paid search advertising to achieve business growth and align with the overall digital marketing strategy.

💻 What You'll Do

Campaign Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and implement PPC strategies on Google Ads and Bing Ads, with a primary focus on Groupon Goods and Local campaigns, to maximize ROI.
    • Set up, manage, and optimize PPC campaigns, including feed optimization and targeting strategies specific to Groupon offerings.

Feed Optimization:

    • Adjustments for the best possible feed structure, including fixing warnings identified in Google Merchant Center to maximize the number of eligible products.

Bid Management and Budget Optimization:

    • Monitor and adjust bids on Google Ads and Bing Ads to maximize campaign efficiency and ROI, focusing on Groupon-related campaigns.
    • Manage daily and monthly budgets, ensuring optimal use of resources to meet performance targets specific to Groupon initiatives.
    • Utilize bid management tools and automation strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and cost-efficiency.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROI, click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates for Groupon campaigns.
    • Provide regular performance reports, including insights and recommendations for optimizing Groupon-related campaigns.
    • Utilize analytics tools to gain insights into user behavior and adjust targeting strategies accordingly, focusing on Groupon products.

Compliance and Industry Trends:

    • Ensure all PPC activities comply with platform policies and relevant legal regulations, including data privacy laws, especially in relation to Groupon campaigns.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and technological advancements in PPC advertising on Google Ads and Bing Ads.
    • Engage in continuous learning to maintain expertise in PPC management and competitive advantage, particularly in promoting Groupon products.

Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate closely with SEO, content, and analytics teams to ensure integrated and effective digital marketing strategies that support Groupon campaigns.
    • Communicate campaign goals, performance, and insights to stakeholders, focusing on the impact of Groupon promotions on ROI.
    • Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the digital marketing team, with a special emphasis on Groupon-related goals.
