We’re looking for a passionate and adaptable Short Video & Visual Designer to join our team within Groupon’s fast-paced marketing team. In this role, you’ll create and produce both video and static campaign assets for multiple platforms, such as web, apps, email, and paid ads, while collaborating with a talented and diverse team.

Although we’re primarily seeking a specialist in short-form social media video, a significant part of the role also includes supporting the team with static design assets - working from existing templates or developing new creative concepts. These can range from banners for push notifications to email headers, and sometimes include translation and localization tasks that scale into high-volume production.

This position offers plenty of opportunities for growth, whether you're a junior editor looking to expand your skillset or a senior professional with extensive experience in video and digital asset creation.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce creative short-form video assets optimized for social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta/Google paid ads.

  • Create static design concepts and campaign assets for web, app, email, push notifications, social media (paid & organic), and Google Display Network (GDN).

  • Develop engaging content that aligns with platform trends and audience engagement strategies.

  • Collaborate with marketers, channel leads, and designers to conceptualize and deliver high-quality visual storytelling.

  • Stay on top of social media trends and apply best practices in mobile-first video creation and motion graphics.

  • Use AI tools like MidJourney and ChatGPT to enhance ideation and speed up content production.

  • Apply feedback promptly and iterate on designs to meet quality standards and tight deadlines.

🖍️ Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro

  • Proficient in Photoshop to create high-quality static assets efficiently with excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience with mobile editing tools (e.g., CapCut, VN) and design platforms like Canva.

  • Proven ability to create high-performing content tailored for different platforms and formats.

  • Excellent storytelling skills with a strong eye for pacing, music, and visual engagement.

  • Growth mindset with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.

  • A proactive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

✅ Nice to have 

  • Portfolio with clear evidence of effective short video creation.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML5 banners 

  • Experience in designing for international markets.

  • E-commerce marketing experience.

🗣️ Language Requirement:

  • Proficiency in English is required.

  • We work in a hybrid model – 2 days per week in the office, 3 days remotely.
