About the Role

Groupon is seeking a Procurement Analyst with a strong analytical and project management focus to enhance procurement governance, vendor efficiency, and strategic sourcing execution. This role prioritizes investigative work and data analysis. You will join an agile, high-performing team operating in a dynamic, AI-driven environment that values speed, autonomy, and precision.

You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and business leaders to deliver insightful, compliant, and value-focused sourcing outcomes that support Groupon’s automation and process optimization goals.

📍Location: hybrid work model from Prague

Key Responsibilities

• Lead analytical search and project management to assess procurement needs, including strategy alignment, budget control, and risk assessment.
• Challenge sourcing ideas through a detailed search to ensure alignment with leadership and business strategies before procurement execution.
• Oversee vendor contracts, lead negotiations, and monitor supplier performance,
• Participate in sourcing events (RFx), evaluate bids, and finalize terms.
• Cooperate in sourcing and purchasing operations across indirect categories
• Enhance procurement workflows and documentation using tools like Asana and ERP systems, ensuring audit readiness and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Identify cost savings and drive process improvements with AI-assisted data analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in business, finance, or supply chain management.
• Experience in project management roles 
• Strong analytical, project management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organized, autonomous, excellent documentation and communication skills.
• English Language 

Nice to Have

• Experience in ICT, consulting, or digital services procurement. 
• Familiarity with AI-based procurement analytics.
• Proficiency with Asana or similar project management tools.
• Czech/Slovak language would be an advantage
