We are reinventing Groupon into Groupon Mine — a deeply personalized marketplace where every user sees a different Groupon, fully adapted to their intent, interests, and journey.

This is one of Groupon’s flagship strategic bets, directly sponsored at the C-level. We’re looking for a world-class Senior Product Manager for Personalized UX to bring it to life.

 

🌟 What You’ll Do

  • End-to-end personalization ownership: Drive how personalization manifests across Groupon surfaces (home, landing pages, category hubs, onboarding, multi-channel entry) and shape how our personalization engines deliver experiences in real time ensuring customers see a Groupon that feels designed for them.
  • Define how we understand users from day one: Define strategies to collect and leverage user behavior, interest, and intent signals — through passive interactions, cross-channel data, and innovative onboarding flows that help us understand each customer from day one.
  • Prototype first, scale later: Always start with fast, scrappy prototypes to validate ideas before building at scale.
  • Adaptive interfaces: Define and evolve flexible UX modules — content, layouts, deal cards, media — that adapt dynamically to user signals, context and behaviour.
  • Define and execute the vision for AI-driven search, filtering, and recommendations. Collaborate deeply with Search & Relevance and ML teams to design, prototype, and deliver discovery experiences that feel intuitive and human to customers — ensuring personalization translates into tangible product improvements in the app and web.
  • Rapid experimentation: Design and run A/B tests to validate UX hypotheses with speed.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Work closely with ML engineers, infra, analysts and marketing to ship personalized experiences consistently across platforms and channels.
  • Measure impact relentlessly: Define KPIs, track uplift in conversion, engagement, retention, and continuously optimize to maximize both customer delight and revenue uplift. 
  • Be the advocate for the personalized experience inside Groupon: evangelize a customer-first vision of personalization, align stakeholders, and influence roadmaps across teams.

🧩 What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in product management with at least 2+ in e-commerce, marketplaces, or consumer apps focused on personalization and adaptive UX.
  • Prototyping mastery: Hands-on experience with modern prototyping and no-code/low-code tools (Figma Make, Lovable)
  • Scrappy execution: Track record of validating ideas fast and iterating based on data, not perfection.
  • UX obsession: Passion for designing adaptive, personalized, and delightful customer experiences.
  • Tech fluency: Solid grasp of how personalization engines, APIs, and AI models integrate into UX.
  • Metrics-driven: Skilled in setting up experiments, interpreting results, and optimizing for CVR, GP/UV, and retention.
  • High velocity: Bias for action, delivery, and learning at speed.
