The Role
Investors’ Chronicle is looking for a diligent and digitally proficient Digital Production Journalist to join its production team. Based in London and reporting to the Digital Production Editor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our digital publishing is timely, accurate, and engaging. This role blends editorial production, digital asset creation, and multimedia support to elevate the IC’s digital presence.
Key Responsibilities

Publish and enhance digital content using our CMS, ensuring timely and accurate uploads

Upload external contributor content to our CMS

Collaborate with the Digital Production Editor to source and add photos, charts, and digital assets

Work with production colleagues to improve content presentation online

Support the Audience Engagement Editor in compiling and sending daily newsletters

Promote stories across social media platforms

Create interactive graphics and charts

Record, edit and prepare podcasts and videos for publication with the FT Specialist A/V team

Ensure SEO best practices are applied across all digital content
Required Skills and Experience

Proficiency using a CMS to prepare and publish content

Experience with multimedia content production (podcasts and videos)

Competence in sending newsletters and handling mailing tools

Awareness of social media best practices across platforms

Strong sub-editing skills for digital publication
Desirable

Knowledge of stock markets and investment journalism

Familiarity with Flourish for data visualisation

Photoshop experience
