Project Description

The project is a greenfield initiative in the mortgage domain focused on building a modern, scalable platform that integrates AI-driven decision-making, high-throughput data processing, and robust backend services. The system will manage end-to-end workflows related to loan processing and customer engagement, integrating with both internal and external APIs.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot;
  • Work within a microservices architecture, ensuring system stability and performance;
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations;
  • Lead a team, managing workload, priorities, and task assignment;
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, including mentoring and knowledge sharing;
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions when required;
  • Collaborate with architects, QA, and stakeholders to align on technical and delivery goals;
  • Remain hands-on with development while balancing Team Lead responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of backend development experience with Java;
  • Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot (3.x);
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (Firestore or similar);
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and/or RabbitMQ;
  • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs;
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines;
  • Cloud experience with GCP (or other cloud providers) is a plus;
  • Ability to lead team workload, priorities, and task distribution;
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
