Information Security Process & Compliance Engineer

The Information Security Process & Compliance Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Information Security Management System (ISMS) processes, including compliance management, risk management, incident management, audits, metrics, and related activities.

We are looking for a specialist to join an international IT company and participate in an ISO 27001 implementation project. We will provide full onboarding, training, and hands-on guidance. The role is project-based with a duration of one year. Candidates with minimal prior experience are welcome, as long as there is a strong motivation to learn.

By the end of the project, you will gain sufficient practical experience to independently implement ISO 27001 in other organizations. This opportunity can be viewed as a one-year intensive practical training program, with the added benefit of competitive compensation.

Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in the IT industry with a focus on information security, or students of relevant technical universities;
  • Experience with or understanding of core ISMS processes such as risk management, incident management, audits, metrics, compliance assessments, and related activities;
  • Nice to have experience in developing information security policies and procedures;
  • Basic knowledge of modern information security standards, practices, and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and others;
  • Basic understanding of security technologies and concepts including SIEM, NGFW, patch management, vulnerability assessment, antivirus and EDR, and similar;
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills in the field of information security;
  • English proficiency at A2 level or higher, both written and spoken;
