
Finished Goods Inventory Planner

As a Finished Goods Inventory Planner, you’ll manage inventory purchasing and stock levels in coordination with Sales, Planning, and Logistics, balancing investment and service level targets.
You’ll ensure purchasing parameters are maintained, requisitions are processed accurately, and inventory data is analysed to drive optimisation and improve performance.

With your detail-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimising the system settings that drive inventory purchase recommendations.
You’ll collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to define stockable ranges by warehouse, apply stock classification (ABC/HML), and set safety stock levels that balance service levels with inventory budgets. With your attention to detail and process-driven approach, you’ll refine key parameters like minimum order quantities, rounding values, and lead times to ensure efficient inventory management
With your proactive mindset and eye for detail, you’ll review FOAs for finished goods, ensuring alignment with purchasing assumptions and policy compliance. You’ll engage stakeholders for timely approvals and monitor key KPIs to drive efficient inventory performance.
With a solutions-focused mindset and strong collaboration skills, you’ll support initiatives to improve stock quality by exploring surplus transfers from other Bradken sites before initiating new orders.
You’ll also monitor key drivers of reliable and efficient inventory management such as overdue orders, master data accuracy, and supplier performance and work with stakeholders to develop and implement corrective action plans.
Key Criteria:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a related field or equivalent experience that demonstrates capability in this area.
- Hands-on understanding of MRP processes within ERP systems, including safety stock settings and inventory planning tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in inventory management, preferably in a global or complex environment involving diverse products, customers, or markets.
- Experience in or exposure to demand planning is preferred.
