What's the role:

Join us as a Production Supervisor (Day/Afternoon Shift) and play a key role in shaping quality, safety, and delivery outcomes for our workshop teams.

As Production Supervisor, you’ll lead from the floor, enabling our teams to produce quality fabricated and assembled products, safely, efficiently, and on time.

Your Impact:

You’ll drive the day-to-day operations across your shift, ensuring every order meets customer specifications while fostering a high-performing, safety-focused team.

  • You will lead a team of tradespersons, trades assistants, and leading hands to achieve production goals in quality, cost, and delivery.
  • You will develop and implement systems to monitor productivity, analyse KPIs, and resolve production challenges proactively.
  • You will coordinate dispatch and deliveries, support workshop planning, and contribute to accurate stock and inventory management through systems like Epicor.
  • You will ensure maintenance needs are proactively planned with internal and external providers, minimising downtime and extending equipment reliability.

How You Work

You bring structure, energy, and a sharp eye for continuous improvement. Your strength lies in knowing the plant, supporting your people, and making things happen.

  • You’ll balance workflow, workforce planning, and purchasing needs to deliver results in line with cost and delivery targets.
  • You’ll manage vendor relationships, monitor inventory (including hazardous materials), and oversee purchase orders for critical subcontract and maintenance services.
  • You’ll lead regular planning meetings, ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
  • You’ll play a hands-on role in coaching, compliance, and capability-building, creating a safe and skilled workforce that consistently delivers.

What You Bring

You’re a production leader who understands the pressures of a workshop environment and thrives on delivering outcomes through people.

  • Trade qualification in an Engineering discipline and/or post-secondary qualifications in business or management (desirable)
  • Experience supervising medium-sized teams in a workshop or manufacturing environment
  • A strong technical or engineering background with knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and drive team performance
  • Familiarity with workshop systems such as Epicor, work planning, inventory management, and vendor coordination
  • Commitment to safety and experience embedding safe work systems on the floor

This role is based in Bassendean, Western Australia
