
Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth and profitability by expanding the customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships in your region, while aligning every step with our corporate objectives and values

you’ll combine your strategic mindset and relationship-building skills to drive sales growth and strengthen customer partnerships. With your commercial acumen and resilience, you’ll uncover new opportunities across Bradken's product groups, expand market share in key product lines, and explore overseas markets.
You will take ownership of developing impactful sales plans, securing strategic supply agreements with key accounts, and identifying product development opportunities that fuel long-term growth. Leveraging data-driven insights in Salesforce, you’ll track customer activities, pipeline opportunities, and market intelligence while preparing accurate sales budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
You will optimize sales processes, develop systems to measure market share and order forecasts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve budgeted sales targets.
You will develop medium-term operational work plans (up to one year) to allocate resources efficiently and set priorities. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic planning for key business areas and lead improvement projects by scoping, prioritizing, executing, and monitoring initiatives within your area of accountability.
Key Criteria:
- Qualification in Engineering, Mining, Business, or Trade.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mining or related markets, preferably in a technical sales role.
- Strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Computer literate e.g.: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willing to travel and work outside of your Contract hours (at times)
This role will be based in Johannesburg (Office)
