About the Role 

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Global Senior Program Manager to lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across a global footprint. The role is critical in driving consistency, innovation, and performance across all regions while aligning with our company’s commitment to safety excellence.

 

The ideal candidate is both strategic and operational, with strong experience in program management, data analytics, communication strategy, and digital platform oversight.

 

 

Main Responsibilities 

Global HSE Program Leadership

• Lead the development and execution of global HSE programs aligned with company strategy and regulatory requirements

• Drive standardization and scalability of HSE processes across all regions and business units

• Partner with regional HSE leaders to ensure consistent implementation and continuous improvement

 

HSE Systems & Technology Management 

• Own and manage all HSE-related software platforms (e.g., incident management, audit tools, training)

• Ensure data integrity, system optimization, and user adoption across the organization

• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance HSE performance and reporting

 

Data, Metrics & KPI Reporting 

• Develop, track, and analyze leading and lagging HSE indicators

• Generate executive-level KPI dashboards and reports with actionable insights

• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive proactive safety improvements 

 

Communication Strategy 

• Develop and execute a company-wide HSE communication strategy in partnership with the Communications team

• Ensure consistent messaging that reinforces safety culture, lessons learned, and key initiatives

• Create engaging content (campaigns, alerts, storytelling, etc.) to drive workforce engagement

 

Training & Capability Development

• Design and implement strategic HSE training programs across all levels of the organization

• Partner with operational leaders to identify training needs and close competency gaps

• Ensure training programs are modern, interactive, and aligned with adult learning principles

 

Program & Project Management 

• Manage multiple HSE initiatives simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within scope

• Establish governance structures, project plans, and performance tracking mechanisms 

• Drive cross-functional collaboration with operations, HR, legal, and leadership teams

 

Continuous Improvement & Culture 

• Promote a proactive, learning-focused safety culture across the organization 

• Lead global initiatives focused on incident prevention, human performance, and risk reduction

• Facilitate sharing of best practices and lessons learned across regions

 

 

Qualifications and experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• 8+ years of progressive experience in HSE, with at least 3–5 years in a program or global role

• Strong experience managing HSE software systems and data analytics

• Proven ability to develop KPI frameworks and executive-level reporting

• Experience building and executing communication strategies at scale

• Demonstrated success in designing and delivering enterprise-wide training programs

• Strong project and program management skills (PMP or similar preferred)

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to influence across all levels of the organization

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in construction, data centers, energy, or high-risk industries

• Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH)

• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
