About Yondr

Yondr is a disruptor. We challenge convention and simplify complexity. A global developer, owner operator and service provider of data centers, we deliver complex data center capacity needs for the world’s largest tech companies. Our exponential growth sees us looking for extraordinary people to help accelerate us towards our vision: a tomorrow without constraints.

But we can’t do this without you.

About the Role

The Market Director, Real Estate is a senior-level role responsible for leading and executing the company’s real estate strategy within a defined geographic market. This individual will be the local expert and primary point of contact for all regional development activity, interfacing closely with municipalities, customers, JV partners, and vendors. The role requires a deep understanding of local entitlement processes, customer deployments, and competitive dynamics, while also playing a critical role in sales support, external engagement, and internal cross-functional coordination. This position will influence the full lifecycle of real estate development—while also ensuring alignment with commercial and strategic goals.

Main Responsibilities

/ Regional Strategy & Execution: Drive and implement real estate development strategy tailored to the assigned market, aligned with company-wide growth objectives. Lead planning for future capacity, customer demand, and land positioning.

/ Municipality & Regulatory Engagement: Serve as the company’s primary liaison with local government agencies, utilities, and planning boards. Proactively manage and track the dynamic local entitlement and permitting pathways to unlock local challenges.

/ Customer Support & Sales Enablement: Partner with internal sales and customer teams to support existing accounts and strategic pursuits. Translate regional infrastructure realities into actionable insights for go-to-market opportunities.

/ JV & Vendor Relationship Management: Oversee and manage local JV partnerships and key vendor relationships. Ensure alignment with scope, timeline, and performance metrics. Lead periodic reviews and support contract negotiation as needed.

/ Site Selection & Competitive Analysis: Identify new site opportunities and maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, utility infrastructure, land use constraints, and drivers within the region.

/ Project Oversight: Support early-phase planning and entitlement efforts across projects. Collaborate with centralized teams through design, preconstruction, and execution handoffs.

/ Community Engagement: Serve as the public face of the company in the region. Proactively engage with local community members, neighborhood groups, and elected officials to build trust and maintain a positive reputation. Participate in industry coalitions and local business organizations to advocate for shared goals and foster long-term support.

/ Leadership Presentations: Provide informed recommendations and present market-specific strategies to the Executive Leadership Team.

/ Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the regional integrator across internal teams (development, construction, finance, legal, operations) and external stakeholders (brokers, land owners, JV partners).

/ Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate region-specific risks across permitting, community response, utility delivery, or market shifts.

/ Reporting: Deliver regular updates on regional progress, risks, competitive movements, and opportunities for both internal and external audiences.

Qualifications and experience

/ Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

/ 10+ years of experience in real estate development, infrastructure delivery, or site acquisition—with demonstrated expertise in a defined geographic market.

/ Proven track record working with municipalities, navigating entitlements, and executing regional strategy.

/ Experience interfacing directly with customers and supporting commercial sales pursuits.

/ Strong understanding of regional utility dynamics, land use policy, and the entitlement landscape.

/ Successful track record managing external partnerships, including JVs, brokers, consultants, and contractors.

/ High proficiency in financial analysis, project planning, and executive communication.

/ Ability to manage complexity, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.

/ Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
