The Channel Manager is responsible for the alignment, enablement, and performance of Insight Enterprises in their territory. The successful candidate will manage daily sales relationships and represent Veeam in all aspects of business development, strategy, execution, funnel development, marketing, and sales within the partner in the Northeast area. The Channel Manager understands Veeam’s go-to-market strategy in alignment with the sales and engineering team and identifies synergies with the partner to drive growth opportunities.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Train and educate sales and engineers across the partner organization
  • Build internal relationships with Veeam sellers and executives
  • Establish and maintain relationships at all levels within the partner’s organization
  • Develop, manage, and track the joint account plan with the partner
  • Increase deal registrations and uncover new opportunities within the partner
  • Create annual and quarterly business plans with the partner
  • Conduct quarterly compliance reviews for certifications and performance vs. level attainment
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Veeam Software products and their benefits for partners
  • Provide weekly forecasting on all deals via the partner
  • Update and maintain partner deals in Salesforce.com
  • A plus: Relationships with Insight Enterprises 

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience working with a manufacturer or partner in the technology industry with a proven track record of success
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in sales within the Channel Partner ecosystem
  • Strong executive presence and financial acumen
  • Experience in direct sales and marketing (sales experience in backup, cloud, or data center is a plus)
  • Ability to work within a geographically distributed and matrixed environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills
  • Hunter mentality – tenacious and aggressive in driving new business
  • Strong written and verbal communication, influencing, presentation, and time management skills
  • Comfortable presenting to groups
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
  • Ability to adapt to changes in role and responsibilities
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technology concepts
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to measure and govern performance
  • Experience working with Veeam Alliance Partners
  • Knowledge of the virtualization industry and the ability to communicate effectively with the partner community
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory/partner locations

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

United States of America Pay Range

$154,900 - $221,300 USD
