At Veeam, we are in search of an experienced, innovative Director of Enterprise Product Marketing to help evolve our enterprise go-to-market motion across sales and marketing. You are passionate about articulating business value, thrive on defining customer pain points, and excel at crafting compelling, value-based positioning. You bring a balance of analytical rigor and creative storytelling, and you’re known for inspiring teams and driving cross-functional alignment. 

This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to shape how we engage enterprise IT and security decision-makers. You will serve as the voice of the customer and subject matter expert on how to successfully market to the enterprise for Veeam. In this role, you will partner closely with regional marketing & sales counterparts, product management, technical product strategy/evangelism, competitive intelligence, campaigns, and enablement to achieve market dominance in this competitive space. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Champion and evolve our data resilience messaging across all channels to drive awareness and engagement with enterprise audiences. 
  • Lead the transformation of our marketing and sales approach to align with a true enterprise GTM motion
  • Deeply understand and advocate for buyer and customer personas across the full lifecycle—from awareness to renewal. 
  • Develop differentiated messaging and positioning that clearly communicates Veeam’s value, competitive edge, and market relevance. 
  • Partner with sales to identify enablement needs and deliver impactful assets that drive pipeline and conversion. 
  • Collaborate with the Sales Acceleration team to support sales, channel, and service provider enablement
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, benefit-driven messaging for end users and partners. 
  • Contribute to GTM strategy in partnership with Campaigns, Digital Marketing, and Demand Generation teams. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of product marketers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. 

Requirements: 

  • 10–15 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or a technical B2B software role. Experience in backup, recovery, security, or monitoring is highly desirable. 
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without authority and experience leading and developing high-performing teams. 
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a track record of launching new programs, assets, and campaigns. 
  • Strong analytical skills; data-driven approach to goal setting and performance measurement. 
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills—both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to simplify technical content into compelling narratives for diverse audiences. 
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. 
  • Comfortable operating in a start-up-like environment within a larger organization. 
  • Customer-first mindset with a deep understanding of the entire customer journey. 
  • Experience with vertical go-to-market (GTM) strategies is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Comfortable working remotely in a distributed global team. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$206,400 - $294,900 USD
