HR Operations Specialist

As a team and business in Croatia we are creating a new position as part of our HR team in Croatia. You will have the opportunity to be able to be part of an established team with our growing workforce of 500 employees currently and continuing to expand. A team who is looking to improve the employee experience and ways of working through automation and technolnogy. You will work as part of our wider International HR Operations team and will be the first point of contact for payroll, benefits and HR queries for our employees in Croatia. Playing a key role in ensuring an excellent employee experience. We are looking for someone who has the ability and desire to continue to improve processes, looking for ways to create a better-than-expected people experience and a desire to use Technology to bring self-service and automation.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience managing payroll processing from start to finish
- Has experience dealing with high volumes of queries at fast pace
- Has expereince of onboarding 10-20 new joiners per month
- Has the ability to react quickly and accurately to provide solutions to our employees
- Has a good understanding of Croatian people related law
- Has experience implementing and maintaining flexible benefits
- Has contract administration experience
- Is able to manage the employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between
- Is willing to work as part of a matrix organisation
- Has the ability to work independently
- Is problem solving
- Has Payroll and operations experience
- Has a good understanding of employee relations and the legal approach
- Has the desire to continually improve our processes
- Has excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Has fluency in both written and verbal English
- Has experience ideally with SuccessFactors
What you'll be doing:
Payroll
- Day to day management of the payroll for our employees
- Managing relationship with our payroll providers
- Monthly reconciliation
- Providing regular reporting to finance
- Responsible for data accuracy within our payroll system
- First point of contact for all payroll related queries
Operations and Benefits
- Contract administration for HQ employees
- Managing data within our group system SuccessFactors
- Enrolment to company benefits
- First point of contact for employee queries
- Supporting managers with employee related questions
- Acting as expert on local knowledge for wider HR team and Managers
General
- Partnering with the widerHR team to ensure excellent communication
- Building relationships with internal and external partners
- Partnering with wider HR team on key projects supporting our objectives
- Partnering with People Partners to provide knowledge and advice on employee relation matters
