You Will:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation. Your responsibilities will include monitoring web applications, automating daily tasks, and maintaining the production environment. You will collaborate closely with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure our systems are highly available, secure, and efficient.

The following skills will be crucial:

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex systems, troubleshoot critical issues, and implement scalable solutions. Experience in mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and driving key DevOps projects through hands-on technical contributions.
• Proven ability to streamline daily operations by developing automation scripts, refining CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to enhance system reliability and team productivity.
• Strong communication skills to engage with engineering teams and stakeholders across the organization. Ability to work across disciplines to align infrastructure and deployment strategies, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
• Skilled at addressing complex and unclear technical challenges. Capable of analyzing issues, defining objectives and success metrics, and crafting efficient, practical solutions to meet project goals.
• Commitment to delivering impactful results by prioritizing simple, effective solutions that enhance system performance. Proficient at identifying when to scale up to advanced tools and methodologies while maintaining a focus on overall simplicity and elegance in design.

Desired Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar
• Significant experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure, with a preference for GCP)
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and management
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Strong knowledge of Docker for containerization
• Advanced skills in Python (including async programming, type hinting)
• A strong commitment to best practices and ensuring the high security of designed solutions

Good to have

• Experience with GitOps practices and tools (e.g.: ArgoCD)
• Familiarity with Job scheduling and executing tools (e.g.: Argo Workflows)
• Familiarity with monitoring and error-tracking tools like Sentry
• Knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL and Redis
• Understanding of event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub
• Familiarity with JavaScript, NodeJS and its associated tools, including npm, eslint and Webpack
