As a Sales Manager, you will lead, develop, and coach Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). You will build on our existing success and strengthen the team by bringing new perspectives, business acumen, and sales excellence. The role is key in ensuring that we continue to foster a transparent, collaborative, competent, and high-performing Sales Development team, in close partnership with other Sales Managers and Leadership teams.
The Sales Manager role at Mentimeter combines line management responsibilities with team leadership. You will spend most of your time working closely with your team to exceed their opportunity creation and ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) goals. Your responsibilities will also include tasks related to people management, such as development talks, employee administration, and recruitment, as well as tactics development and implementation. To thrive in this role, you should be motivated by setting and achieving ambitious team goals, developing and coaching others, and maintaining a structured approach to administrative tasks.

What you will do:
- Recruit, onboard, and coach a team of Sales Development Representatives, setting them up to achieve yearly targets.
- Develop, mentor, and coach each team member to help them reach their full potential and drive high performance. Responsibilities include:
- Personal and professional development
- Promotion and role change decisions
- Salary setting
- Lead the operational work of the SDR team.
- Provide daily and weekly team and individual coaching to help the team evolve and prosper.
- Offer hands-on support to SDRs in their daily work and participate in customer meetings when appropriate.
- Make tactical decisions together with the Sales Director regarding the focus areas for Sales Development.
Resources we have to support you:
- World-class lead generation from the Marketing and Product teams.
- Revenue and Sales Operations teams supporting analysis and tactical initiatives.
- A dedicated Sales Enablement function.
- A Management Training Program providing best practices and learnings from other leaders to help you succeed in your role.
We believe you have:
- Experience selling B2B software solutions within the SaaS or a similar market.
- Previous line management and team leadership experience within a Sales team.
- A proven track record of managing customer and stakeholder relationships, as well as meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- The ability to work with data in a structured way to inform decision-making and scale actions for effective results.
- Strong collaboration skills and a proven ability to build high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English; other major European languages are a plus (Swedish is not required).

Not required:
You don’t have to know Swedish (we are an English-first organization, daily work is carried out in English and the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 20 different nationalities!).
