GOALS OF THE POSITION:

 

The HSE Office is responsible for ensuring that the organization complies with all health and safety regulations and maintains a safe work environment for employees and visitors.

 

Safeguards the well-being of all employees and the environment while promoting compliance, continuous improvement, and a culture of safety within the organization.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and national government regulations.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety matters, including training programs, safety meetings, and emergency preparedness.

  • Collaborate with departments to identify and assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate hazards and improve safety performance.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, and training records.

  • Stay informed about changes in health and safety regulations and industry best practices and communicate relevant updates to management and staff.

  • Participate in safety committees, meetings, and initiatives to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate with external agencies, such as regulatory authorities and emergency responders, as necessary.

  • Oversee clinic operations and work in partnership with our service provider.

  • Coordinate, facilitate, and oversee the annual physical examination initiatives, ensuring seamless organization, comprehensive facilitation, and meticulous monitoring throughout the entire process.

  • Maintains the highest standards of ethical conduct and fairness in all interactions, ensuring the preservation of the Company's exemplary reputation and image.

  • Executes all assigned duties in alignment with the Company's overarching objectives, contributing to the achievement of its goals and mission.

JOB SPECIFICS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Professional certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., BOSH) preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the contact center setting.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, codes, and standards

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective controls.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.

  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office and safety management software.

  • Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
