Associate Research Manager

Bangkok, Thailand

The Role
In this role, you will be working closely with Research team and clients, developing and managing client accounts and running diverse projects (including brand health tracking, customer experience, new product development, advertising test, PR study, etc.). You will collaborate with clients to understand their strategic goals, help Research Director design research proposal with proper methodologies, analyse data with insights and prepare high-quality reports. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Thai and English, a willingness to learn and embrace a fast-paced work environment.

What will I be delivering?
• Project management: co-ordinate and manage research projects either independently or as part of a team. Work with the Research Director and Research Team on project plans, resources and deliverables.
• Data analysis and reporting: analyse research results from both Data Products and Data Services to identify key insights and trends. Prepare clear, accurate and compelling reports.
• Account Management: Work closely with Research Director on account management to understand client needs and provide relevant and useful insights from research, ultimately to create client engagement and grow portfolio.
• New business development support: collaborate with NB team to prepare quotations and proposals in response to research briefs from New Business Development Team.
• Work effectively and collaboratively with operational teams in YouGov’s Centre of Excellence (CENX) to ensure efficient fieldwork management, data processing and report preparing.

Qualifications
What do I need to bring with me?

• Solid understanding of research design, online / offline and basic discipline of research methodologies, sampling, questionnaire design, questionnaire scripting, quotas and weighting and significance testing.
• Analytical and numerical skills.
• A proactive with can-do and positive attitude to learning and helping others.
• Self-discipline and motivation.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work across multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
• At least 3 years market research experience in a research agency (experience in online / offline research, custom study and syndicated study would be advantage).
• Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, listening and presentation skills) both in Thai and English
• Thai citizen
