We are looking to grow our talented team of research professionals and looking for a Graduate Research Executive to support the success of our Research team in Hong Kong.
This role relies on excellent communication and quantitative research skills. As a Graduate Research Executive, you will be running and working on research projects on a whole host of topics for a wide range of clients, helping senior staff deliver research for YouGov’s top-tier accounts. You will also assist clients in realising the full potential of our Data Product and Service offerings.
You will gain comprehensive exposure to research projects from start to finish, including understanding research objectives, drafting questionnaires, and preparing survey data, as well as interpreting data and delivering results. Using our data, you will prepare reports and provide consulting to clients regarding their business needs.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Collaborate with your team to design and deliver research projects for a diverse range of clients, including but not limited to media agencies, banks, insurance companies, and QSRs.
- Work closely with our Research, Data Processing, Operations teams locally and internationally to manage the project flow and ensure the highest standard is met.
- Be responsible for day-to-day management of the project data flow, such as setting up and monitoring fieldwork progress, and validating data quality.
- Support in delivering reports and data analysis, extracting key insights to ensure the project has actionable impact to our clients.
- Communicate with clients on their day-to-day research inquiries.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- A degree in a relevant subject (e.g. social sciences, marketing, business management, statistics), or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a prerequisite
- A data-driven mindset, understanding statistics and quantitative analysis is desirable
- Ability to manage multiple tasking, organizing projects and requests
- Ability to pay attention to details and be meticulous given tight timeline
- Excellent teamwork and proactive in communication
- Proficient in both spoken and written English
It would be great if you had these too, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Previous experience in quantitative research and understanding towards qualitative research is an advantage
