Pricing Manager - Jumia (Full Time)

What you will be doing:

  • Visit offline stores in order to gather pricing information of products
  • Consolidating the data that was gathered from the offline stores
  • Ensuring that internal processes are followed and process improvements are recommended
  • Ensuring pricing competitiveness across all e-commerce platforms and offline market
  • Evaluating consumer trends, industry conditions and visits offline stores to have a scope of opportunities.
  • Understanding the impact of pricing on profit margins.
  • In collaboration with the team, draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing plans.
  • Effectively communicate findings to the team lead.
  • Work with the sales and marketing team to define pricing structure for Jumia.
  • Research for new product or service ideas.
  • Send weekly review of inbound to RM > delivery did not happen, deliveries rescheduled, missing invoices
  • Track products going live once received using the live PBI dashboard
  • Collect internal content updates EAN/cost/discontinued from Suppliers and ensure the execution of the updates by KAM.
  • Ensure collection of correct invoices liaising with the Finance team
  • Reviews flags associated with incorrect invoices in the finance invoices tracker
  • Requests updated documentation/invoices to the supplier
  • Requests missing invoices to Supplier

What we are looking for:

  • Market awareness and negotiating skills.
  • Analytical, evaluative and data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools (Excel pivot tables, &PowerPoint)..
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
