Acquisition Manager - Jumia (Full Time)

Morocco

At Jumia, mobility is at the heart of our people development approach. This job board helps us establish more transparency in available opportunities in the company to promote mobility.

You need to follow simple guidelines:

  • Before applying, make sure you discuss the opportunity with your direct manager and that both of you agree that this is positive for your development (written approval from your direct manager will be required).
  • Apply with your Jumia e-mail.

The Acquisition Manager is responsible for designing and executing robust strategies to expand Jumia’s active seller base across both online and offline channels. This role manages a team of two Hunters (Offline & Online), ensuring alignment with company growth objectives, efficient resource allocation, and continuous improvement of acquisition processes to maximize commercial performance.

What you will be doing

As Acquisition Manager, you will be at the forefront of Jumia’s growth—empowering your team, shaping strategic campaigns, and driving seller acquisition excellence across multiple channels.
  • Inspire and elevate your team: Lead, support, and develop the acquisition team by setting clear, ambitious goals, monitoring performance, delivering hands-on coaching, and fostering continuous skill development. You’ll create a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Drive innovative acquisition strategies: Define and execute seller acquisition plans that combine creative digital campaigns with impactful field-based approaches. You’ll organize and lead engaging offline events such as roadshows and trade fairs that leave a lasting impression and attract top-tier sellers.
  • Own the numbers and optimize: Analyze acquisition performance across all channels, track and report on key metrics (volume, activation, retention, ROI), and identify actionable improvements. You’ll recommend and implement data-driven corrective actions to maximize results and accelerate Jumia’s marketplace growth.

What we are looking for

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in acquisition, business development, or sales, with proven team management exposure. Experience in call centers or field-based environments is a strong "plus".
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Fluent in Arabic and French. Proficiency in English is a strong plus, enabling you to thrive in our multicultural, international environment.

We aim to provide a comprehensive assessment while respecting your time and investment in the process. Having said that, we would also like to give you full visibility into the recruitment process, which will consist of two main stages:

  1. HR Meeting
  2. Business Meeting #1 with your potential manager

The deadline for submitting your application is March 13th, 2026. Please make sure you comply with this; otherwise, you risk your application not being considered.
