It’s all about impact. Your Impact: You'll be the strategic architect behind partnerships with Africa's most prestigious beauty brands, working directly with C-suite executives while gaining unprecedented exposure to Jumia's senior leadership team, including our CEOs and Managing Directors.

What you will be doing

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives and senior account managers from top beauty and personal care brands.
  • Serve as the primary Jumia representative for key accounts within the beauty ecosystem, working alongside the CCO and Head of Beauty.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to drive sales growth and maximize revenue within assigned categories.
  • Lead high-stakes negotiations and finalize partnership agreements ensuring mutual value creation.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design and implement targeted promotional campaigns and category-specific initiatives.
  • Analyze market data, sales performance, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and strategic improvements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators including sales metrics, inventory management, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless account management and order fulfillment.
  • Provide exceptional client service and proactively address strategic concerns and operational challenges.
  • Stay current with industry developments, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior trends within the beauty and personal care sector.

What we are looking for

  • Industry Expertise: 3+ years of proven success in the Beauty & Personal Care industry.
  • Market Intelligence: Deep understanding of African beauty market dynamics and key industry players and industry ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and market research.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.
  • Experience with CRM and relationship management platforms.
  • Proven track record in high-stakes commercial negotiations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments.
  • Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellence in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Results-oriented mindset with focus on achieving ambitious targets.
  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
