What you will be doing:
- **Team Management:** Supervising a team of staff members responsible for handling defective items in the supply chain. This may include recruitment, training, scheduling, and team performance evaluation.
- **Defective Inventory Management:** Ensuring effective management of identified defective items in the supply chain, including their storage, tracking, and appropriate disposal according to company policies and regulations.
- **Trend Analysis:** Monitoring and analyzing trends related to defective items to identify underlying causes of quality issues and propose continuous improvement solutions to reduce future incidents.
- **Internal Communication:** Effectively communicating with various teams in the supply chain, as well as other relevant departments, to coordinate activities related to defective items and ensure transparent information flow.
- **Process Improvement:** Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities to optimize defective item management, striving to reduce delays, costs, and inefficiencies.
- **Quality and Safety Compliance:** Ensuring that all activities related to defective items comply with established quality and safety standards, and taking corrective measures in case of non-compliance.**Reporting and Tracking:** Preparing regular reports on team performance, defective item trends, corrective actions taken, and recommendations for process improvement.
What we are looking for:
- Team management experience: Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team to achieve set goals.
- Supply chain knowledge: In-depth understanding of processes and workflows in the supply chain.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends to make informed decisions.
- Effective communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with different teams and clearly communicate requirements and results.
- Time and priority management: Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet operational requirements.
- Problem-solving: Ability to proactively solve problems and make quick decisions to minimize disruptions.
- Quality orientation: Commitment to continuous improvement of product quality and processes.
- Leadership: Ability to influence and inspire other team members to achieve common goals.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain / logistic
- Languages proficiency : Good command of Arabic, French & English
