The People team at GuestReady is hiring! 

We're looking for a proactive, experienced People & Culture Specialist to join and lead our dynamic team in Dubai. In this crucial role, you'll handle a variety of HR tasks with a focus on enhancing HR practices, ensuring compliance, and developing efficient processes. You'll own core HR functions such as employee onboarding, visa administration, and coordinating team events to enrich our company culture. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and time management skills and strong communication abilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • HR Program Management: Implement and manage HR and People initiatives aligned with the global business strategy of GuestReady; Coordinate with the corporate HR team on regional training and development programs and assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding Leadership: Take charge of the entire onboarding and offboarding journey for new hires and departing employees, from paperwork completion to training coordination and smooth transitions.
  • Recruitment Collaboration: Work directly with the Managing Director (MD) and department heads in the recruitment cycle, from job postings and candidate screening to interview scheduling. 
  • HR Administration and Legal Compliance: Oversee the management of visa and labour card processes, including applications and renewals, and ensure adherence to labour laws and insurance policies. Maintain up-to-date records and manage legal administrative tasks to ensure compliance with all legal deadlines and requirements.
  • Employee Engagement Initiatives: Spearhead the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, aiming to foster a vibrant workplace culture.
  • Employee Relations Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for employee inquiries, offering support and resolving concerns in collaboration with the MD and HR, reinforcing a positive workplace environment.
  • Office Administration and Facility Management: Ensure the office runs smoothly, from managing utilities and service contracts to optimising the office layout and supplies. Oversee facility maintenance and negotiate with service providers to align with budget expectations.
  • Business partner: Act as a guiding resource for managers throughout the employee lifecycle, providing support and expertise on HR-related matters.

 

 

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Arabic as a bonus.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience within UAE, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Human Resources, Psychology, Business etc.).
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork across diverse groups
  • Adaptable and efficient in a fast-paced startup environment, with a keen interest in the sharing economy.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
  • A passionate, team-oriented individual who values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
