About the Role

A strong focus on understanding the Client’s specific interface requirements to act as the liaison between the Operations team and external customers from lease signature throughout the construction phase to handover. To ensure clarity and alignment between all parties regarding their requirements, timeline and delivery thereof. To provide the best-in-class client experience during the delivery of facilities and leading to a best-in-class reputation within the industry. 

 

Main Responsibilities

/ Plan, develop and implement technical services to meet the organisation’s business needs.

/ Review of design of base build & client variations.

/ Manage subject matter expert SME-to-SME relationships.

/ Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members & vendors.

/ Ensure that technical service projects are completed on time and within budget.

/ Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.

/ Monitor and evaluate the performance of the technical services team.

/ Create and manage budgets for technical service projects.

/ Develop and implement policies and procedures for technical service operations.

/ Provide technical support to users and customers.

/ Provide risk management and compliance support to users and customers.

/ Provide quantity surveyor expertise and guidance to team members & vendors. 

 

Qualifications and experience

 

/ 5+ years of experience with a Professional Diploma / Degree in an Engineering field (Mechanical or Electrical) is preferred.

/ 3+ years' experience as a Data Center Engineering Operations professional with a focus on the safe operation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls systems.

/ Possess strong experience and knowledge in project and program management skills.

/ Preference for experience managing client teams and understanding data centre hyperscale clients.

/ Good exposure to covering multiple projects with multiple Clients simultaneously across the region would be advantageous.

/ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

/ Expert in running efficient meetings, tracking action items and deliverables, and ensuring closed-loop communications.

/ Data Centre experience working for end users/developers.

/ Creative and passionate about creating solutions to customer problems.

/ Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision and hold internal & external stakeholders to account.

/ Flexible to travel to clients or suppliers as required for the job.

/ Able to build trusting relationships with various stakeholders in the most effective time frame.

 

Please note: This role is a hybrid model and would require candidates to be located near our Dublin or London office.
