The role  

As a regional leader in the Client Solutions team, you will provide technical leadership to pre-sales activities, post sale activities and customer relationships globally. You will be involved throughout the whole sales process, from the start of a technical solution pitch through ensuring that all technical and design information is correct for contracting purposes. In addition, taking a lead role with Yondr internal teams in all correspondence with the client. You will take oversight of the delivery teams’ performance during execution of a lease from a technical compliance and escalations point of view. 

You'll be required to attend/lead client facing meetings to discuss a development’s engineering aspects in support of the opportunity team and conduct expert to expert conversation. This role is regional so will require travel to all parts of the America Region in which that Yondr operates. 

 

Main responsibilities  

/ Take lead in technical sales and solutions in the Americas markets.  

/ Liaise with technical, delivery, operations and site acquisition stakeholders within Yondr's Hyperscale Client organizations. 

/ Understand and document client’s technical requirements, then lead the opportunity design development and present solutions to meet those needs.  

/ Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Design and Construction, Operations and Development teams to ensure Yondr delivers the correct solution for the client's requirements. 

/ Serve as primary responder for customer RFPs, including managing the Client and all internal stakeholders for a complete RFP submission meeting the Client’s expectations. 

/ Accountable for the accuracy of the technical content of the lease contract. Responsible for the technical validation of compliance during the delivery phase. 

/ Support Yondr's teams (Design and Construction, Operations, Development) by providing customer insight into future design and location strategies.  

/ Act as a subject matter expert related to all aspects of Yondr’s design. 

/ Generate insight and feedback through professional contacts and networking.  

/ Participate in forecasting, pipeline and market analysis.  

/ Act as a senior member of the Client Solutions Team, providing support and guidance to interdepartmental colleagues as and when required.  

 

Qualifications and experience  

/ Experience of supporting the Client Solutions teams with capturing and defining the technical requirements and solutions for our target clients.  

/ Electrical, Mechanical, Network or Operational datacenter experience. Ideally experience in the Design, Construction and operational lifecycle of data centers. 

/ Ability to present complex technical solutions in a simplified manner to articulate solutions and benefits to stakeholders with varying degrees of technical knowledge.  

/ Strong ability to translate customer needs into specific, deliverable requirements.  

/ Experience of data center design, business critical infrastructure management and data center environment awareness.  

/ Comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex project documents.  

/ A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.  

/ Ability to learn and apply technical and business concepts quickly.  

/ Able to facilitate workshop style sessions with customers to extract important aspects of customer requirements.  

/ Work well under pressure and take a proactive approach.  

/ Good organizational skills, attention to detail and openness to new ideas and procedures. / Ability to clearly communicate solutions and the ability to present to audiences from all levels within an organization.
