Enterprise FSI Sales Specialist (REMOTE: NYC area preferred)

Qualifications:
Understanding of Financial Technologies (FinTech):
- Proven track record of success selling complex technical solutions into large, complex financial institutions
- Familiarity with software and solutions commonly used in banking, investments, insurance, payment processing, etc.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies like blockchain, AI, machine learning, and their applications in finance.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and other sales tools.
- Ability to understand technical specifications of products and articulate them to non-technical stakeholders.
Compliance Knowledge:
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services such as KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and data protection laws.
Experience in Financial Services:
- Prior experience working in large organizations withing financial services or selling to financial institutions is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the unique challenges and needs of financial clients.
Networking and Relationships:
- Established connections within the industry can be beneficial for lead generation and gaining trust.
- Ability to leverage existing relationships to close deals.
Proven Sales Record:
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in technology sales in the financial sector.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
Consultative Selling Skills:
- Ability to understand client needs, tailor solutions, and create value propositions.
- Strong skills in account management and nurturing long-term client relationships.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex ideas clearly.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade various stakeholders.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to analyze client needs and market trends to adjust strategies effectively.
- Capability to develop creative solutions to address client challenges.
Adaptability and Continuous Learning:
- Willingness to stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Open-mindedness to adapt sales strategies as the market evolves.
The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$214,300 - $306,100 USD
