The Veeam Inside Systems Engineer collaborates closely with sales teams, providing expertise to inform, educate, and influence end users, partners, and internal teams about our products and technologies. Responsibilities include effectively presenting Veeam messaging and sharing technical expertise with various decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging customer presentations and demonstrations in both live and virtual settings.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
- Conduct remote configuration reviews with customers.
- Independently consult with customer base to provide technical expertise on data protection.
- Maintain close coordination with internal teams, including Support and Licensing.
- Manage accounts at a technical level to support upsell and cross-selling.
- Participate and support technical sales cycles for successful customer outcomes.
- Thrive in a fast-paced territory, continuously adapting to meet market and customer demands.
- Organize work efficiently, utilizing tools like Salesforce.com for processes, customer information, and technical notes.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills while establishing and maintaining strong business relationships.
- Ability to Transform a product-based selling to customer-centric problem-solving
- Map technical requirements to business outcomes/impact
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in solution sales, technical presales, post-sales, or technical support.
- Industry-based expertise in data protection technologies.
- Experience in storage, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in key technologies, including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, AHV, RHV, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and other enterprise applications.
- Proven ability to work independently in dynamic environments, demonstrating high energy, motivation, and quick adaptability to new technologies.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clear communication.
- Time management skills.
- Aptitude for fast learning
- Beneficial but not required: experience with Linux and containerization (K8s)
