Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 3+ web and digital designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Develop and implement design processes, standards, and best practices.
- Define and drive the visual design direction for web applications and marketing sites.
- Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products.
- Collaborate with product marketing, digital experience team, web developers, and other stakeholders to align design with business goals.
- Conduct design research, analyze user feedback, and inform design decisions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in web design, with 3+ years in a leadership/management role.
- Portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design, user experience, and product design.
- Strong understanding of design principles, user research, and human-centered design.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Experience managing designers, providing constructive feedback, and guiding career development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of design systems and style guides
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular)
- Certification in design or related field (e.g., UX Design, Design Thinking)
- Experience with design tools: Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles, user-centered design methodologies
- Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1)
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (front-end development)
- Project management tools (Jira, Monday)

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
United States of America Pay Range
$141,500 - $202,200 USD
