Reporting to the Vice President Sales of EMEA South, the Country Manager is responsible for the plan and the entire execution of Sales activity within their designated region, to develop the company’s activity with end customers and working with partners to leverage and support the business. The successful candidate will be in charge of managing dotted and solid lines team and coordinating all necessary supporting activities.
What you´ll do:
- Achieve the revenue targets set for France and French Speaking Africa
- Propose and implement action plans in line with the strategic orientations defined by Veeam
- Analyze the market and its players to maximize existing successes and create new opportunities for revenue growth in France
- Intervene in support of the sales team to finalize the signing of contracts and be a privileged contact for the management teams of our customers and partners
- Facilitate the quotations and proposals made by our partners to our customers and prospects
- Prepare and communicate accurate and up-to-date forecasts to his/her superiors within the set deadlines
- Organize business territories and management of development plans
- Ensure the optimal organization and management of resources dedicated to the French territory, jointly with the EMEA management teams, in particular concerning the Pre-Sales, Inside sales, Marketing and Channel (VADs, VARs, SIs, MSPs, Alliances).
- Define and share with his/her supervisor the team's performance indicators and take any necessary corrective actions
- Recruiting and developing employee skills
- Foster a positive climate of collaboration within the team and between employees
What you´ll bring:
- Experience, rigor, you are a charismatic leader
- Able to manage and develop a team of over 100 people and a management team of 10 people
- Proven and successful experience in a dynamic, fast-moving, extremely competitive and fast-growing market
- Having evolved within company(ies) undergoing major transformation, able to manage these changes, both in terms of organization and communication
- Good listening, a highly organized, methodical worker, organizational and communication at different levels skills, and ability to understand and anticipate current and future trends
- In-depth knowledge of the Enterprise segment, with a network of decision-maker contacts in major French companies. However, a good knowledge of other market segments (small and medium-sized companies) is also important.
- Excellent knowledge of the infrastructure, security, cloud and SaaS sales markets
- Ability to move into a broader regional role in the future.
