About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) engineering team. You will work with a global team to build next-generation data protection services, focusing on ensuring data resilience for our customers.This is a unique opportunity to work on greenfield projects, building features from the ground up that will be deployed and utilised worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Design and development of highly responsive user interface components for web applications using React
- Test and troubleshoot web applications. Design and maintain unit test and end-to-end test frameworks
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to discuss requirements, design and implementation
- On-call rotation for product operations
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions with React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with TypeScript
- Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
- You are passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation
- You are impact and result-driven and biased towards execution
- A university degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience
Bonus Skills
- Experience with database and/or storage systems – especially in the public cloud
- Experience with Azure Cloud
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Experience with Salesforce
