Head of Product - Payments

At Superbet, payments aren’t just a back-office function, they are our most critical growth lever. As we scale beyond Europe and rapidly expand into markets like Brazil, we are moving from a regional player to a global powerhouse.

We are looking for a Head of Product, Payments to own how money moves across our entire ecosystem. This is a high stakes leadership role at the intersection of product innovation, commercial strategy, and complex regulation. You’ll be defining the financial architecture that supports thousands of customers and millions in transactions.

What you'll do:

• Set the Global Vision: Define and evangelize a multi-year payments strategy that balances global platform scalability with the hyper local needs of new markets.
• Own Payments P&L: You aren't just building "plumbing." You will drive the unit economics of payments optimizing success rates, reducing processing costs, and managing fraud in partnership with Risk and Compliance.
• Lead & Scale: Mentor and grow a high performing team of Product Managers. Foster a culture of "strong product thinking" where customer centricity and data driven decisions beat opinions every time.
• Power Growth: Oversee the development of a modular, resilient platform that allows for the rapid rollout of local payment methods (APMs) to unlock faster market expansion.
• Evangelize & Align: Serve as the "Voice of Payments" in executive discussions, aligning execs & stakeholders, commercial and country leadership on trade offs and investment.

What We’re Looking For

• A Payments Veteran: You have 10+ years in Product Management, with a significant chapter spent leading Payments or FinTech products at scale.
• Strategically Minded, Operationally Lean: You can navigate the "messy constraints" of regulated environments and turn them into a competitive advantage.
• Data Obsessed: You use quantitative insights to drive performance and have a deep understanding of the global value chain (issuing, acquiring, gateways, and schemes).
• A Natural Influencer: You have the "leadership gravitas" to influence external partners (PSPs, banks) and internal stakeholders across different geographies.
• Pragmatic & Ambitious: You thrive in high pressure environments and are comfortable making high stakes decisions even when the information is incomplete.
• A "Player-Coach": While you lead a high performing team, you remain deeply connected to the day-to-day product reality, equally ready to architect a three year strategy or dive into the product requirements to unblock a launch.
