Whether someone is looking to attend their first event or their hundredth, we’re here to delight them all the way from the moment they start looking for a ticket until they step through the gate. The same goes for our sellers. From fans selling a single ticket to the promoters of a worldwide stadium tour, we want StubHub to be the safest, most convenient way to offer a ticket to the millions of fans who browse our platform around the world.
About the Direct Issuance Team:
Direct Issuance (DI) is building the future of event ticketing at StubHub – one where venues, promoters, and teams can seamlessly access millions of fans through StubHub’s distribution. Fans want direct access to the content they love; event organizers want to reach loyal and new fans where they are. DI creates the technology and business systems that make this connection seamless, scalable, and intelligent.
As a Strategy Manager - Product, you’ll play a hybrid role at the intersection of product, strategy, and operations. You’ll partner with engineers, analysts, and operations leaders to identify high-impact opportunities, test bold ideas, and design the systems that will shape the next generation of DI products.
This role is designed for a builder-strategist – someone who can move fluidly between analysis, execution, and product design; who thrives in ambiguity; and who’s motivated to unlock growth through sharp thinking and fast iteration.
What You'll Do:
-
Drive the Product Strategy for Direct Issuance
- Partner with leadership to shape and prioritize the DI roadmap – identifying the most promising bets across new inventory sources, demand activation tools, and operational automation.
- Translate ambiguous problems into actionable product or operational initiatives.
- Develop frameworks and systems to assess ROI, measure progress, and decide where to double down or pivot.
Act as a Hybrid Product Manager & Operator
- Lead day-to-day execution on select DI workstreams – directly partnering with engineers and ops teams to ship and scale.
- Identify and test new untapped growth opportunities.
- Design, test, and implement 0 to 1 features to get early signal on opportunities.
Deliver Measurable Business Impact
- Optimize performance across partners, identifying opportunities to grow and deepen partnerships at scale.
- Build tools and workflows to drive efficiency in DI operations.
- Evaluate performance across partners and experiments – ensuring each investment is data-backed and ROI-justified.
What You've Done:
-
- 4-8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, sales operations, product management, or consulting, ideally in a tech or marketplace environment.
- Track record of independently delivering outstanding business and customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, early-stage environments – structuring problems and driving toward clarity and execution.
- Strong analytical and technical fluency – able to self-serve data, define metrics, and collaborate closely with engineering.
- Demonstrated success in owning cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
- Comfortable toggling between strategic framing and hands-on execution.
What We Offer:
- Accelerated Growth Environment: Immerse yourself in an environment designed for swift skill and knowledge enhancement, where you have the autonomy to lead experiments and tests on a massive scale.
- Top Tier Compensation Package: Enjoy a rewarding compensation package that includes enticing stock incentives, aligning with our commitment to recognizing and valuing your contributions.
- Flexible Time Off: Embrace a healthy work-life balance with unlimited Flex Time Off, providing you the flexibility to manage your schedule and recharge as needed.
