StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale. Whether someone is looking to attend their first event or their hundredth, we’re here to delight them—from the moment they start searching for tickets to the moment they’re walking into the venue.

At StubHub, we’re not just selling tickets; we’re elevating the entire live event experience. Fans come to us to discover, buy, and sell tickets to the events they love—and our engineers make that experience fast, intuitive, and trustworthy across web and mobile.

This role is designed for new graduates who want hands-on production experience, strong mentorship, and exposure to modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development and GenAI tools in a collaborative team environment. You’ll work closely with Senior Engineers and SDE IIs, shipping meaningful features while leveling up quickly.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) - Century City, CA

About the Team:

The Consumer Experience team owns the end-to-end journey for millions of fans discovering, buying, and selling tickets on StubHub’s web and mobile platforms. Every search, recommendation, checkout flow, and confirmation page is built by our teams.

We operate at global scale, serving fans across 60+ regions and 30+ languages with fast, localized, and reliable experiences during high-demand moments. This is high-impact engineering with real-time traffic spikes and complex distributed systems challenges.

Our teams are deeply cross-functional, with engineering, product, design, and data working in true partnership and shared ownership. Engineers influence strategy, shape roadmaps, and have direct access to experimentation and insights that guide decisions.

We build across the full stack, choosing tools and technologies that help us move quickly and deliver quality at scale. We are relentless about understanding fans, using data and rapid iteration to raise the bar on every release.

If you are excited to build products used by millions, solve meaningful technical challenges, and define the future of live event commerce, we would love to build with you.

What You'll Do:
  • Build AI-first consumer product experiences
    • Invent and ship new ways for fans to discover and buy tickets using AI-powered product thinking and tooling.
    • Prototype quickly, validate ideas with data, and iterate into polished experiences that feel simple and delightful.
  • Integrate AI into how we build
    • Use GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, OpenAI) to accelerate the full development lifecycle: brainstorming and design exploration, code generation, test planning, debugging, documentation, and drafting PRs.
    • Apply AI to analysis and iteration—summarizing qualitative feedback, spotting patterns in product behavior, and turning insights into concrete improvements.
  • Deliver features at global scale
    • Build and evolve high-traffic web and mobile product surfaces used by millions of fans.
    • Contribute to systems and APIs that support personalization, localization, experimentation, and reliable performance across regions.
  • Learn fast with strong mentorship
    • Work closely with experienced engineers who care about clarity, craftsmanship, and setting you up to own features end-to-end.

What We're Looking for:

  • Recent graduate or software engineer with up to ~1 year of experience (including internships, co-ops, or substantial academic projects).
  • Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and core programming concepts).
  • Basic experience building user-facing applications and/or consuming APIs.
  • Exposure to LLMs or GenAI tools (coursework, internships, hackathons, or side projects)—bonus if you’ve used frameworks or platforms like Anthropic or ChatGPT in something you built.

Why you’ll love this team:

  • Product impact: You’ll ship directly to fans and see your work in the core StubHub experience.
  • AI-first culture: We don’t treat AI as a demo—we use it to build better products and to build faster, across ideation, analysis, implementation, and iteration.
  • Experimentation mindset: We run tight loops: build → measure → learn → improve.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Engineers partner deeply with product, design, and data to build experiences that are both effective and enjoyable.

What We Offer:

  • Accelerated Growth Environment: An environment designed for swift skill and knowledge enhancement, where you have the autonomy to lead experiments and tests on a massive scale.
  • Top Tier Compensation Package: Competitive base, equity, and upside that tracks with your impact.
  • Flexible Time Off: Enjoy unlimited Flex Time Off, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule and take time to recharge as needed.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Prioritize your well-being with a comprehensive benefits package, featuring 401k, and premium Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance options.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
