The mission

We are looking for a motivated Key Account Manager reporting to the Country manager France, to create long-term, trusting relationships with our top clients in France.
The Key Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned partners, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for preparing, collecting, analysing, and reporting key data points.
 
What you will do:
  • You will drive the growth strategy for our existing clients: lead sales calls, business reviews, and recurring check-ins;
  • You will build custom sales presentations by preparing key data, historical findings and relevant research;
  • You will create reports, account plans, define new strategy for our clients and provide weekly forecast to your manager: increase revenue will be your main goal;
  • You will be a champion for client needs with internal stakeholders;
  • You will work together with the team to execute overall strategy that will keep on strengthening Scalapay's positioning as a key BNPL player in France, as well as addressing new customer and revenue growth opportunities head-on.
Who you are:
  • You hold a 5-7 years experience in key account management preferably and/or business consultant, preferably in e-commerce, retail, fashion or beauty companies;
  • You possess a strong business acumen;
  • You have a proven ability to grow partnerships;
  • You're experienced managing enterprise-level clients and building strong relationships with top-management stakeholders
  • You hold a successful track record of upselling and cross-selling to maximize client portfolios;
  • Your communication skills are excellent, you are proactive, organized and data-driven;
  • You know how to manage simultaneous projects efficiently and execute them on tight deadlines;
  • You speak French at a native or near-native level (C2) and possess full business proficiency in English (C1);
  • If you speak MEDDIC, it’s a plus!
