Events are a central part of our marketing strategy. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a seasoned individual to join our marketing team in London as a Marketing Events Manager, who will be responsible for defining and delivering Optimove’s events strategy in EMEA. 

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player with exceptional project management and organization skills, seeking an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a lively and challenging environment. As a Marketing Events Manager, you’ll play a crucial part in Optimove’s marketing across Europe! 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage and execute Optimove’s presence in industry-leading conferences and self-produced events in EMEA.
  • Identify, prioritize and qualify industry events for the sales team to attend. 
  • Project manage the events from start to finish: manage production, timeline, budget, venue, vendor sourcing, etc. 
  • Coordinate with multiple key stakeholders and third-party providers. 
  • Work cross-functionally with different marketing and sales teams to ensure all event assets (print, digital, content) and deadlines are identified and met. 
  • Oversee events onsite and trouble-shooting at all conferences and self-produced events. 
  • Manage sponsorship contract negotiations. 
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of events against KPI’s, ensure that all events contribute to overall sales and marketing objectives, and lead pre and post-event briefings and reporting.   
  • Support development and production of marketing and promotional materials as requested. 
  • Assure dynamic collaboration between the Americas office and the global marketing team. 
  • Champion the company brand identity across all developed materials. 
  • Increase operational efficiency of global marketing activities. 

 

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • 2-3 years’ experience with event production and management (small intimate events and large flagship events).  
  • Excellent project management, negotiation, and organizational skills.  
  • Experience managing large budgets and delivering events within those budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to quickly build relationships and drive delivery from other team members and from external stakeholders and third-party providers.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
  • Well organized, methodical and self-motivated.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and have strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and great analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel to manage events onsite as needed.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
