We are expanding our footprint and presence in APAC and currently in search for an experienced Strategy and Corporate Development candidate.

Associate - Strategy & Corporate Development- APAC

As an Associate, you will be the ‘engine room’ of the APAC Strategy Team. You will be bridging the gap between complex technical requirements and financial viability. Your primary focus will be on building sophisticated financial models to price our services for Enterprise clients and managing the capital requirements for our large-scale infrastructure deployments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Commercial Pricing & Structuring: Develop and maintain complex financial models to determine pricing for GPU-as-a-Service and bespoke AI infrastructure deals
  • You will conduct sensitivity analyses and ROI modelling to ensure competitive yet profitable positioning
  • Project Finance & Cashflow Modelling: Create detailed cashflow projections for regional infrastructure projects (Data Centres/GPU clusters) and identify funding gaps and modelling the impact of different financing structures
  • Treasury Coordination: Working hand-in-hand with the Group Treasury Team to secure project financing. Will be assisting in preparing investment memos and data rooms for lenders or equity partners
  • Strategic growth: Support the VP of Strategy in evaluating market entry strategies, partnership opportunities and competitive benchmarking across APAC landscape
  • Stakeholder Management: Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations for the Sales and Operations Team

 

 

About You

  • Masters/Bachelor Degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or Project Finance
  • Experience in advanced Excel modelling skills and in building three-statement models and project finance waterfalls from scratch
  • Fluency in Japanese as will require to liaise in Japan market and counterparts
  • A ‘self-starter’ who thrives in fast-paced environment and can manage multiple workstreams with minimal supervision
